The Village Mystic
The Village Mystic is a family-owned metaphysical boutique located in the heart of the Village of the Arts in Bradenton, Florida. For nearly 15 years, we’ve been part of this creative, colorful community — growing alongside it and welcoming locals and visitors from all over who are curious, open-hearted, and looking for something meaningful.
Inside our shop, you’ll find a thoughtfully chosen mix of crystals, jewelry, candles, incense, books, and one-of-a-kind pieces for the body, mind, and spirit. Whether you’re shopping for a gift or looking to support your own spiritual journey, our space is meant to feel warm, personal, and easy to walk into — no pressure, no judgment, just good energy and beautiful things.
The Village Mystic is co-owned by Dawn and her partner, Shaman Jeff — a federally recognized Native American shaman, psychic reader, teacher, and healer. Jeff works closely with customers through spiritual sessions, classes, and guidance, and he is also the caretaker of two ancient crystal skulls and rare artifacts that have been featured on Ancient Aliens. His space is one of the most talked-about parts of the shop — visitors often say they can feel something the moment they walk in. Jeff loves sharing the stories behind the artifacts and helping people find clarity and connection in their own lives.
A few years ago, we expanded with the opening of The Village Mystic Gallery, located just around the corner. The Gallery is open by appointment and during special events and showcases some of our larger and rarer mineral pieces. It’s a quiet, grounding space designed for those who want to slow down, take it all in, and experience crystals on a deeper level.
For families and visitors looking for something hands-on, we also created Mystic Mines Gemstone Mining — a 40-foot outdoor gemstone mining flume where kids and adults can sift through running water to uncover real gemstones and fossils. It’s educational, interactive, and a lot of fun… and it’s brought countless new visitors and families into the Village of the Arts.
